Sony Reveals April 2023 PlayStation Plus Games
Sony has recently announced the upcoming titles for the April edition of the PlayStation Plus Essential games, and it’s a fantastic lineup that includes a PS5 launch title and a brand new release from the creators of Dead by Daylight.
PlayStation Plus Essential Games for April 2023:
- Meet Your Maker
- Tails of Iron
- Sackboy
Starting April 4th, players will have access to Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron, all of which will be available for both the PS4 and PS5 versions. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a spinoff of the beloved LittleBigPlanet series by Media Molecule, which was released alongside the PS5 in 2020. This cooperative platformer is tightly designed, much like Super Mario 3D World, and it doesn’t rely on user-generated content.
Meet Your Maker
On the other hand, Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic base-building game developed by Behaviour Interactive, the creators of Dead by Daylight. This game allows players to build and explore player-created outposts filled with deadly traps and guards, making it an excellent option for those looking for user-made content. In fact, Meet Your Maker was one of the “most original multiplayer games launching this year” after playing its open beta during Steam Next Fest.
Tails of Iron
Finally, Tails of Iron is a fantasy side-scrolling action RPG featuring rats, which should appeal to indie game and Soulslike fans. This game adds a unique and thrilling experience to the PlayStation Plus lineup and promises to be a great addition to players’ gaming collections.
Overall, Sony has done an excellent job of providing players with a diverse lineup of games for the April edition of PlayStation Plus Essential games. We’re eagerly awaiting the announcement of the April’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles and hoping they offer an equally exciting selection of games.
Sackboy
Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron will be available through PlayStation Plus from April 4th until May 1st. If you haven’t already, it’s highly recommended to download March’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, including Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein, before these three games replace them.
